Mitchell Monteith

Mitchell Monteith is an experienced intelligence professional and the current OSINT Capability Manager at Opes Cyber Security, based in Canberra, Australia. With a career spanning over a decade, Mitchell has developed expertise in strategic intelligence, OSINT, and data analytics, having held roles in both military and government sectors.

Previously, Mitchell served in the Royal Australian Air Force, where he worked as an intelligence analyst and linguist. He has also worked with Defence Australia and Codarra Advanced Systems, where he contributed to major defence projects and provided consulting for various Australian government agencies.

At Opes Cyber Security, Mitchell leads the development and application of open-source intelligence capabilities, focusing on enhancing cybersecurity operations and providing strategic insights. His work involves the transformation of complex data into actionable intelligence, supporting both government and commercial clients.

Mitchell holds a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from Griffith University and various technical certifications, including Certified Human Trafficking Investigator (CHTI) and Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate.
